What things cost
All of it in one place. A seat fee buys a seat at a table for the evening, a ticket buys entry to a quiz or a music night, and a hire fee buys a room. None of it is a stake, none of it goes into a pool, and none of it can come back to you as winnings. Food and drink are charged separately at the bar.

Seats and tickets may be cancelled up to the afternoon of the night at no cost, or moved to another night. Back room bookings are held on a deposit of a quarter of the hire, refundable up to a week beforehand; inside that week we will move the date rather than keep the money. Counters are not sold at any price and cannot be bought with any of the fees above. Nothing on this page is wagered and nothing is paid out, on any night, to anyone. Over-18s only, photo identification at the door.
Membership
Three ways to hold a seat
You do not need to be a member to come up. Membership exists for the people who are here often enough that paying a seat fee each time becomes a small nuisance, and because a room this size works better when a good share of the people in it know each other. All three tiers run month to month and stop with a fortnight's notice.
